Trip to the Zoo

I went with Elf, Patrick, and mom. We went the wrong way one time when we were going to the zoo but Patrick and mom got us back on track. We parked and asked a man for directions. He told us and we walked in.

Mom gave the money to the cashier and trust me it was alot of money. Mom going potty was the first thing to happen. So she took the bathroom. We went on a boat and saw many animals as Aligators, hoppopotamases, lions, tigers, monkeys, Gorillas, Rinos, Zebras, Girafs, Voltures, tortoises, turtles, hogs, pigs, cheetas, walruses, Goats, sheep, kangerooos and many kinds of birds.

I saw animals on the way back to the van. It was hard to walk. I was relieved when I got to the van. I thought of the trip. When we got home my legs were not tired any more. I didn't have to take a bath when I got home.

Dangers of Storms

Hurricanes can destroy entire houses. They can also kill thousands of people (alone.) A hurricane always has an eye. The eye is the middle of the hurricane. Hurricanes formed in the Indian Ocean are called cyclones. Water has to be at least 80 Fahrenheit to form a hurricane. How people name a hurricane is very interesting. The first storm or hurricane begins with an a. The second starts with a b and so on. In other places hurricanes are called typhoons. Now we have sirens to warn us.

Japan

They celebrate Children's Day on May 5. Todyo is the capital of Japan. On their flag, the red dot represents the sun. The chrisanthemum flower is the symbol of the emperor and his family.
The national bird is the red crowned crane.

The Samurai lived by a code in 1880. They swore loyalty to the king. They'd followed their king till death. They followed Their cheiften for a few more genorations. Local warlords ruled small areas. They fought for other people's areas.

Where I Want to Move

I wish I could move to Antartica. I would love to meet a penguin there. Even though it is so cold I'd love to. Do you think it could get so cold that it could tear the house down? It would be terrific.

How Bees Make Honey

Honey comes from flowers and is made by bees. They gather a sweet thing in the flowers called nectar. They get it in their hive and make honey.

Bees gather nectar from flowers. Later, they place it in a cell. Then they shoot chemicals in it. After they fan the nectar. And when it cools, it's honey. They eat some and save the the rest for winter.


A bear once tried to steal honey. But the bees fought back. But honeybees can only sting once. So, a honeybee went off and died. Beekeepers try to get some honey to sell. And their clothes help protect them from stings.

They get the honey from the cells and sell them in stores.

Clue

I like to play Clue with the family. This is played at naptime. It's a guessing game . We have to finish our school work before naptime. It's easier to win than to figure out a real mystery. It is the best game.

No Treasure

You have hung Was. You shall die. You now have a black spot. Tomorrow, you shall be shot. Or you can walk the plank. You will regret it. You now have five minutes to say goodbye.
